GRE – Sentence Equivalence

The Sentence Equivalence questions are one of the three question types of the Verbal Reasoning section of the GRE. The Sentence Equivalence questions present a sentence with blanks to be filled in by the test taker. After filling in the blanks, the two finished sentences should mean more or less the same in the sense of being ‘equivalent’ to each other, and render complete logic to the sentence in question.

In this subsection, you will have to choose 2 correct answers that will make the meaning of the statement provided complete. Amongst the given 6 possible answer choices, you will have to select two correct answers. However, you will not receive any credit for providing 1 correct answer. You will have to choose 2 correct answers, in order to get the marks allotted for the question.
